John Vitolo, M.D., F.A.A.O.S
Since 1994, Dr. John Vitolo has been serving the community and providing quality orthopedic care for his patients in Northern New Jersey. Dr. Vitolo is a board certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports injuries as well as disorders of the knee and shoulder.
Dr. Vitolo is a graduate of University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, completed his residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, and has completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Massachusetts.
Dr. Vitolo has proudly served as a team physician for the Boston Red Sox and The New Jersey Cardinals, and currently is a team physician for the Sussex Skyhawks. Dr. Vitolo holds a teaching position at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He was a former Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and former Assistant Director of the Sports Medicine Center at the University of Massachusetts.

Jeanette Porter, PA-C
Skyview Orthopedic Associates is pleased to announce the addition of Jeanette Porter, PA-C, to our medical team. Jeanette joins our practice after relocating from Arizona where she worked as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant, specializing in hips, knees, and shoulders.
Jeanette Porter is a certified Physician Assistant who has worked in Orthopedics since graduating A.T. Still University in Arizona where she obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to obtaining her Masters, she received her Bachelors in Kinesiology and Biology from Texas Woman's University. Before beginning her education at a Physician Assistant accredited program, Jeanette received advanced training in a specialized program developed by Thomas Shepler, M.D. at the Manus Center in Virginia. This program was developed to allow aspiring individuals to continue their health career. This program only accepts a certain amount of individuals per year.
In her spare time Jeanette enjoys playing basketball, running, hiking, golfing, skiing, and spending time with her family and dog Aspen.
