Doctor Vitolo is board certified in orthopedic surgery, specializing in sports injury as well as disorders of the knee and shoulder. He has over 15 years of experience as an orthopedic surgeon and has performed thousands of knee and shoulder arthroscopic procedures. Doctor Vitolo was Board Re-Certified in 2003.

Doctor Vitolo is a graduate of University of Medicine an Dentistry of New Jersey, completed his residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, and has completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Massachusetts.

Doctor Vitolo has proudly served as a team physician for the Boston Red Sox and The New Jersey Cardinals, and currently is a team physician for the Sussex Skyhawks. Doctor Vitolo holds a teaching position at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He was a former Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and former Assistant Director of the Sports Medicine Center at the University of Massachusetts. Doctor Vitolo has been serving the community since 1994.
